The AIS Automatic Identification System is a very important system for safety at sea.

For this it integrates the VHF functions and the two-channel AIS reception in one unit.

VHF with DSC, in class D, predisposed for the connection of a Hs-40 wireless remote handset.

Two bi-directional communications ports for cartographic, one NMea 2000 port and one Nmea 0183, make it possible to visualize the AIS information transmitted by the other boats and receive the GPS position.

Internal GPS antenna and possible connection with external antenna. Fully IPX7 waterproof.

Power 25/1 watt, backlit LCD display of latitude and longitude GPS data, key for channel 16/9, quick access to favorite channels, knobs dedicated to volume and squelch.

Keys for Dual Watch and Tri Watch, Ais and DSC call selectable by the operator. High quality microphone with quick keys for simple and reliable use.

It incorporates a loudspeaker capable of clear audio easily understandable even in the presence of background noises typical of a boat. Megaphone function with external speaker (not included) of 30W and fog function.

It is necessary to insert the MMSI data to the installation or subsequently to use the DSC functions.
