Global Recycled Standard "GRS" is an international certification promoted by the Textile Exchange with the aim of encouraging the use of recycled materials in the textile sector.
GRS defines:
- Precise information regarding the characteristics of the recycled raw material;
- Standards that can guarantee ethical working conditions;
- Rules for minimizing harmful environmental and chemical impacts.
Ferrino adopts this Certification recognizing the fundamental importance of recycling for the growth of a production and sustainable consumption model. We therefore make a contribution to reducing the consumption of resources (virgin raw materials, water and energy to produce them) while increasing the quality of recycled products.
