The FERRINO THAR 2 is a compact tunnel tent for two, with an inner area, vestibule and internal storage pockets. Its design suits backpacking and multi-day walking, while the mosquito-net inner and ventilation sleeves provide airflow options.

Flysheet, floor and interior organisation

The double fly is made from 70D Polyester Honey, 75 g/m², with a polyurethane thermal coating and 2,000 mm waterproof rating. The 70D polyester floor weighs 85 g/m² and is rated to 2,500 mm; taped seams and reinforced floor corners are also specified. This waterproof tent includes a mosquito-net door, internal pockets and a lamp hook.

Materials and construction

The tunnel structure uses 7001 T6 tempered aluminium alloy poles with radial joints and shock-corded assembly. The inner tent attaches with hooks and sleeves. At 1.75–1.95 kg, this lightweight tent is designed for carrying on trekking and backpacking trips.

Pack size and pitching details

Packed dimensions are 40 × 17 cm. Aluminium buckles allow adjustment of the distance between the flysheet and inner tent, and guy lines provide anchoring points. The package includes aluminium pegs, a stuff sack and a repair kit; setup instructions are accessible by QR code.
