The FERRINO MANASLU 2 is a tunnel-style shelter designed for mountaineering and winter camping. Its structural layout includes a spacious front vestibule, providing a dedicated area for gear storage while keeping the inner sleeping space clear and organized.

Technical protection and ventilation systems

The entrance features an external mosquito net that folds into a dedicated pocket for airflow management. Ventilation sleeves, combined with a liftable snow flap around the base, allow for precise climate control or complete weather sealing. A transparent TPU front window is integrated into the vestibule to provide natural light and visibility during storms.

Construction and high-performance materials

The flysheet is built with 100% recycled Polyester Ripstop 70D (85 g/m²) featuring an aluminized thermal-insulating polyurethane coating. The inner tent uses Polyester Ripstop 70D (55 g/m²) for breathability, while the floor consists of 100% recycled Polyester 70D (95 g/m²) with a thermal polyurethane coating. All seams on the flysheet and floor are fully taped, with three-layer reinforcement at the floor corners.

Structural stability and equipment

The frame utilizes 7001 T6 tempered aluminium poles with radial joints for increased wind resistance. The inner tent attaches via a system of hooks and sleeves. Included accessories consist of Y-Peg aluminium pegs, reflective guy lines, a lamp hook, internal storage pockets, gear loops, a stuff sack, and a repair kit.

Designed for alpine trekking and mountaineering, this tent offers a compact packed size of 17 × 50 cm and a weight between 2.4 and 2.6 kg, making it suitable for backpackers requiring a robust, weather-resistant shelter in challenging mountain environments.
