Designed for fast-paced trekking, this model offers a streamlined tunnel configuration that maximizes internal space. With a 1 m³ internal volume, it provides a functional shelter for two, incorporating a dedicated vestibule for gear storage and organized access during multi-day expeditions.

Weather protection and internal organization

The shelter is engineered with taped seams on both the fly-sheet and floor to ensure total waterproofing. The corners of the floor utilize a three-layer construction for increased durability. Inside, users benefit from storage pockets and gear loops, while the mosquito net door features a mesh opening that facilitates airflow in conjunction with the front and rear ventilation sleeves.

Technical materials and structural design

The Ferrino Piuma 2 utilizes a 20D silicone-coated ripstop nylon fly-sheet and a 10/0.8 mm nylon mesh inner tent. This combination balances weight reduction with technical performance. The frame is composed of 7001 T6 tempered aluminium alloy poles, supported by superlight aluminium pegs, ensuring a reliable setup in various alpine conditions.

Transport and field assembly

With a packed size of 14 × 33 cm, this tenda da backpacking is optimized for compact storage in a trekking pack. The included kit features Fast Adjustment guy lines and an aquastop-closure stuff sack. A QR code is provided for access to an instruction video, simplifying the assembly process in the field.
