The FERRINO KALAHARI 3 offers a stable structure for trekking and camping, providing a total volume of 2.6 m³. Its design balances internal living space with weather protection, incorporating a dedicated vestibule that keeps the sleeping area clear by storing packs and boots.

Technical protection and ventilation systems

Internal moisture is managed through the Camera Air ventilation system and additional sleeves. Protection is enhanced by a liftable snow flap and two doors, one of which features a mesh panel for insect-free airflow. The floor corners are reinforced with a three-layer construction to increase resistance under load, and all seams are fully taped to maintain integrity against moisture.

Materials and structural design

Constructed with a 70D Polyester Honey flysheet (75 g/m²) featuring a thermal-insulating PU coating, this dome tent ensures a 2000 mm waterproof rating. The inner tent is crafted from breathable, water-repellent Polyester Honey, while the floor uses 70D Polyester (85 g/m²) with a 2500 mm waterproof rating for durability in various conditions.

Setup and transport efficiency

Assembly is simplified by an inner tent system hung from poles using hooks. The structure is supported by two shock-corded fibreglass poles, allowing for an intuitive setup. Internal storage pockets are included to keep small gear items accessible and organized during your stay.
