Directional connector for bolts beyond easy reach

Designed for professional climbing, via ferrata, rescue operations and rope access, this 50 cm XL model helps with directional bolt clipping. Its length and adjustable curvature make it a practical aid for reaching distant bolts when placement or orientation is important.

FROG mechanism and automatic closure

The FROG connector has a mechanism that holds its gates open until contact with the bolt. Contact releases the mechanism and the connector closes automatically; the mechanism also prevents accidental gate opening under load. Insertion into the bolt is directional and takes place from below.

Flexible construction and certified components

A length of flexible tubular webbing houses a flexible internal rod, which lets the user shape and retain the desired curve. The PROG is certified to EN 12275/A and UIAA, as well as EN 362/A/T for professional applications. It is fully made in Italy.

Positioning for the intended route

The 50 cm XL length provides additional reach compared with the standard 35 cm version. The shaped webbing and internal rod allow the connector to be positioned for directional, bottom-first insertion into a bolt.
