A quick release water ski fitting with pull-cord operation
Made by KONG, this quick release water ski device is designed for situations where the user may need to detach quickly from an attachment point. Pulling the cord opens the closing lever, including under load.
Release mechanism and testing
The closing lever opens when the pull cord is pulled, allowing rapid disengagement from the attachment point. The device has been tested by R.I.N.A. and is patented.
AISI 316 stainless steel construction
This stainless steel quick release is made from AISI 316 stainless steel. It is supplied in KONG's ECO PACK, a package made from recycled cardboard.
Pull-cord operation
The release is operated by pulling its cord to open the closing lever, including when the device is under load. This provides a direct way to disengage from an attachment point during water-ski use.
